Mike Keller holds an MFA in Theater from The New School for Drama (‘08). Since then, he has participated in private theater groups under the tutelage of Robert Walden (Lou Grant), and then for Lyle Kessler (Orphans), both Lifetime Actors Studio members. Mike co-founded Lyle’s private group in 2012, and continue to hold sessions over Zoom. In 2015, Mike became a Director Member of the Actors Studio Playwright & Directors Unit, where he works again with Lyle, who heads the Unit. The Unit consists of great talents, such as William Mastrosimone, Chazz Palminteri, and others, who meet once a week to help develop new dramatic works for the stage. After directing independent theater in NYC for several years, in 2018, Mike began directing professional showcases for the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute. Working with students has become a passion of Mike’s since he started privately coaching young actors for their auditions after school. Here’s a few testimonials from his students, and his teachers:
